Out of all the different options we had, we (3 friends) chose an apartment managed by Biriola Holiday - mainly because of the huge number of positive reviews. We traveled to Cala Gonone as a young couple and found Residence Biriola very easy to find. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis. I really liked the location even though you need a car to get around. There are very good restaurants nearby, great sandy beaches.
I liked privacy in the appartments, they are well equiped (except for missing bed sheets and towels which you have to pay for). Generally this is a quiet place for relaxing vacation. -

We stayed at this hotel as part of our five week motoring tour of Italy. It is conveniently located for easy access to the central piazza in Pula and the wonderful sandy beaches and the ruins of Nora along the coast. Our room was well appointed complete with balcony overlooking the pool.

We stayed at this hotel for eight days in July and found it to be extremely comfortable, clean and peaceful. The owners Mr and Mrs Gallia were very welcoming and the staff were friendly and helpful. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the square and the same to walk to the beach but if you enjoy walking it is a pleasant stroll although there is a shuttle bus available.
