Interior of the room was really nice. Equipped with a Safe, Refridgerator which contained free bottles of water, electric kettle a choice of teabags.

We were given a first-floor apartment with kitchenette and terrace from which we could watch the moon rise while dining. The swimming pool at the hotel was so comfortable and tempting that I could hardly leave the hotel for one of the nice surrounding beaches.

We traveled to Cala Gonone as a young couple and found Residence Biriola very easy to find. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis. Although it's all clearly out of season and were the only ones there on one night we were able to check in before the official 13.30 opening time so able to leave our luggage and go out again.
Made welcome by the owner of guesthouse who provided us with plenty to drink and eat with some nice mountain ham at breakfast and was happy to talk to us.

We appreciated the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness of all the staff. They kept going the extra mile, always carrying a smile to make us feel welcome.
The room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable.
However, the highlight of our stay was the superb dining experience combining well presented delicious Sardinian specialties with classy service in a pleasant atmosphere.
I almost forgot, the hotel is excellently located, right on the white sand beach.

I really liked the location even though you need a car to get around. There are very good restaurants nearby, great sandy beaches.
I liked privacy in the appartments, they are well equiped (except for missing bed sheets and towels which you have to pay for). Generally this is a quiet place for relaxing vacation. -
