Lovely hotel in a pleasant, peaceful little town. No noise, no crowds, several nice restaurants and coffee shops within strolling distance, very handy for the ferry to Carloforte. We had a large, spacious, comfortable room with a little balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. -

We traveled to Cala Gonone as a young couple and found Residence Biriola very easy to find. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis. Great view from the room's balcony and tasty breakfast buffet on the sunny terrasse. Staff very friendly. Since the hotel's restaurant was closed we got a reccomandation for a pizzeria right by the beach which was simply but tasty and good value for the price.
