  Just returned from B&B. It was wonderful, looks like in the photos (even better). Laura is the best host I ever meet. The location is perfect, not far from the Citta Alta(25-30 min walking), quiet, close to the forest. In the morning I woke up with birds singing; after a delicious breakfast with regional products. The B&B it's so romantic ... wat mensen zeggen » place. Very nice decorations, everything arranged with so good taste. I stayed with friends, we booked the two rooms with a large shared bathroom. Eve - Wow! Just peruse the photos and magnify by 100. So well detailed for charm, ease of stay, beauty and so close to lovely Bergamo. If you are tired of millions of tourists I reccomend that you come to Laura's and enjoy the hospitality, beautiful wooded countryside the Old and New town of Bergamo. The interior of the Bergamo churches exceed Venice. You will enjoy exploring both new and Alta Citi and the Italian Lakes to the east of Bergamo along with the vineyards which look and feel like Chianti.

  I stayed here as I had an overnight stopover at Milan airport and needed a place to stay the night. This B&B was perfect and was excellent value for the money. The couple who owns it are extremely friendly and helpful, well organized, and everything went off without a hitch exactly as planned including pick-ups, etc... Room was very nice ev... wat mensen zeggen » erything was cared for and clean. I had the one with a shared bathroom, which was spotless. I'd highly recommend to anyone needing a place to spend - Rocco and his wife are absolutely accommodating and friendly. They picked me up at the airport at 11pm at night and delivered me back the next day. Provided tea on arrival and some snacks plus a delicious breakfast!! Perfect for a 1 night stop over when you need to be close to the airport

  The owner, Bice, was exceptionally kind and personable. During our brief stay, Bice went out of her way to help us see Bergamo Alta [the old town]. The accommodations were wonderful with parking provided inside a gated courtyard. Breakfast consisted of bread, meats, cheeses, home made sweets, teas, coffee juices and more. It is very clear that Bice cares about her guests and pays attention to detail. - The B/B was a comfortable, homely self-contained bedsit with kitchenette, and bathroom with bidet.The breakfast was the best ever - cooked eggs, cereal, fruit, yogurt, cold meat, cheese,toast,croissants,cakes - even meringues! Bice was delightful - nothing was too much trouble for her.

  The hotel Le Penete located between the Lake of Como and Lake of Lugano is a great location in absolutely quiet sorrounding, offering perfectly designed rooms and a delicious breakfast with handmade jams and bread. We really enjoyed our 3-days stay there and could recommend it without any ristrictions. The investment in a pool on the huge area or in a sma - Very welcoming reception. State-of-the-art spacious design rooms. Good a/c, comfy beds, proper rainshower. Luxurious breakfast on terrace with homemade items. The place is intended to lodge wedding guests. Viggiù is very close to the Swiss-Italian border and a great base to explore the surrounding lake-district.

Friendly owner - very helpful/excellent service: time of the breakfast and airport transportation negotiable as you wish and are included in the price. If you don´t mind a little walking of maybe 15-20 minutes, you can walk to downtown. Air condition. - I needed a hotel which was close to the airport so the location was excellent. Situated in a cul-de-sac helps reduce traffic noise. Private drive were I parked my car literally a couple of meters from my room. The owner of the place was very kind, polite and helpful. The room (and facilities) was excellent. The price was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend the place for a city trip.

  I can't imagine a better team to run a b & b than Donatella, Giulio and Maria. Not only are they warm-hearted, humorous, always ready to help and efficient, they 've also succeeded in turning their air- conditioned and spic-and-span rooms and common kitchen into a place where you feel at home. After an initial confusion on our Gps which sent us to a different Casazze about 2hrs further South we were quite exhausted on arrival and our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming. The B&B is very spacious, clean and well appointed - one note, we couldn't find wine glasses, but other than that everything about the rooms were what we expected for the price. Very family friendly.
