Wonderful hotel. Lello and his daughter were very kind. His daughter
speaks English well. The room was large and comfortable with a nice,
clean bathroom. I really loved the terrace and kitchen area. They left
eggs and bacon for us to prepare for ourselves. We sat out and had a
great view over Benevento. Location was perfect, close enough to the
busy pedestrian street with shops and restaurants to walk but far enough
not to hear all the noise. I loved staying in a "neighborhood"

When we planned to stay in Naples and travel to Capri, sores to Pompeii from there we were a bit nervous as we were told by many many people that Naples is not a very safe city, and to some extent it is true. Most of all i recommend this place to everybody who doesn't want to stay in napoli, but want to visit. the place located in portici, which you can feel "real" napoli area, not dangerous but normal people's town. the herculaneum is amazing. Train to napoli is just 7 stops and even to pompei is shorter.
Regarding to location. Don't depend on the navigation. If you can't find it. Simply ask someone around there. -

Sorrento apartments was a joy to stay at, the staff were courteous and very friendly. we stayed in the 4 person apartment with the balcony. we were over in Sorrento for our wedding and a number of times we had around 20+ people in our apartment and they happily accommodated us. the balcony was able to hold 20+ people with sun beds, table, chairs and even a little pond provided! the apartment was clean and fresh and the kitchen fully kitted out for self sustained living. the bar below happily br
