Ook stond er een vers gebakken taartje in de vorm van een hart voor ons op de kamer omdat we op huwelijksreis waren. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid met allerlei verse en biologische produkten.   We loved the location of this hidden gem! It is located in Forio, near the top of the mountain. We were nervous at first because the cab driver just kept saying "oh too far, very hard". We soon found that he meant to drive his cab to the hotel ( lots of winding narrow roads, took about 45 minutes). But we got to our destination and couldn't have b... wat mensen zeggen » een happier. It is run by a family. The dad was a builder and the mom a decorator. The daughter speaks the most English and the whole family was extre - We have chosen this hotel for our honeymoon in August 2013 from huge list of hotels on Ischia and as soon as we arrived we were SO glad of our choise. The hotel staff is very helpful and nice, the location is perfect - it's very quiet, but you can reach all the places and sights that you need (they have a free transfer to city and to the beach). Renting a car is a very good solution, but we didn't rent cause we were afraid of tricky roads on island. The breakfast is nice, but there aren't much

  Well situated, a lovely 15 min walk into town. Beach 8 mins down the hill. Clean, simple, effective. We hired a car (40E pd) to explore the island. Perfect size to do that. - Friendly and helpful reception staff, handy for beach and town by foot - albeit a 20 minute walk is good for us.

  Maison Tofani is the best kept secret in Sorrento. The staff were exceptional, especially Giovanni who collected our hire car on the morning we were leaving as the garage did not open until after we wanted to leave. Maria the owner cooks amazing cakes and pastries for breakfast which was the best breakfast we had in Italy. Giovanni - We stayed 6 nights in Maison Tofani which is a great little hotel in the historical centre of Sorrento, decorated in the best Italian style. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street. We had a small table and two chairs on the minute balcony where we could watch the world go by. The windows were well insulated as we weren't disturbed by noise.
