  The hotel is run by a great family who made our holiday very special. Our room had a lovely sea view as did the breakfast balcony. On the occasions when we had an evening meal at the hotel the food was really good quality - plus the wonderful view. We have stayed in many hotels and this rates among the best.   We were treated like royalty... the owners of the hotel, a family, helped us with all our tourism questions, they accomodated all our needs, and then offered even more! Our stay could not have been any better. They made us feel like part of their family! It was just wonderful! The room was lovely and the view breathtaking! The rooftop pool was truly an oasis! The parking was an unexpected blessing after driving the Amalfi and seeing how scarce it is.   Ivan and Fabbiana are exceptional hosts - we were grateful to have such wonderful people welcome us to Sorrento. The staff is a reflection of the owners - Giovanni went out of his way to assist us with parking, traffic control while we parked, and carrying our bags to the hotel. Lina was warm and welcoming, and very gracious in the phone calls and... wat mensen zeggen » emails prior to our visit. Marika checked us in and was also a beacon of grace and customer service. Last but not least, Serafina and her home baked - I loved the warm, welcoming staff and Giovanni's delicious cappuccinos. The breakfast was delicious, the location was smack dab in the center of everything, and the room was spacious and clean, clean, clean. If you're looking for a formal environment where staff doesn't speak unless spoken to, this isn't the place for you. Palazzo Montefusco feels like you're staying with old friends.   Everything! Once we arrived to the resort we all agreed that we had arrived to a paradise. To sum it up: -The service was attentive and impeccable (special thanks to Luciano!) - Rooms were very luxurious and comfortable and staff made every attempt to make your stay to the highest standards. - Grounds were amazing.   Antonietta and Giovanna were the perfect hosts from start to finish. Their staff including Nico, Diego and Paulo were always very polite, pleasant and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for Antonietta, Giovanna and their staff!! The hotel looks great and our room was clean and a good size with a patio area leading to the garden. All in all, Orsa Maggiore is a beautiful hotel with excellent owners and - Orsa Maggiore was a beautiful stop for us on our honeymoon. I would request a room Oceanside (beautiful sunsets). The rooms are clean and pretty, but here, you are paying for the views and a great design of a pool area! The staff are also all very nice and helpful! They made good dinner recommendations and always offered to shuttle you around the island (this is quite helpful if you know Capri) and the wifi connection is good. Also-the free breakfast is plentiful!

Incredibly nice, always smiling, always offering advice on where to go, where to eat and they even booked restaurants with the best view.   We traveled along the amalfi coast all the way to Sorrento on a 7 day trip. Throughout our trip we were disappointed by the lack of cleanliness and comfort the hotels provided on the coast... until we came across Magi House Relais. We wanted to stay forever! It was better than any 5 star hotel or any other hotels we came acr - Great location in the old quarter in the center of Sorrento. Everything was perfect. The apartment was bi-level, bedroom and bathroom downstairs and a small kitchen upstairs, which allowed us to cook a few nights and then dine out a few nights. It is also an easy 30 minute train ride from Sorrrento to Pompei and 15 more minutes to Herculanaem. Staff at Magi House were wonderful. The owner Mariano wants to make sure that you have a great stay.

  I loved everything about this apartment. I was skeptical at first about the area and price. After me and my friends arrived we soon realized we would never want to leave! Our apartment was a 6 person apartment on the first floor. We could leave the doors open at night and hear the sea while we fell asleep.
