  When looking for a hotel in Tropea, I selected the hotel with as few as possible negative remarks. We had planned a week of relaxing in Calabria to recover from a very stressful period at work, so we really wanted a 'safe haven' where there would be no annoyances and disturbances. This B&B turned out to be perfect for that: a nice, clean room,... wat mensen zeggen » very friendly staff who were very helpful when we asked for information about excursions, a good shower with two shower heads (normal and 'rain showe - Beautiful building - other than Santa Maria dell'Isola, I think this was the nicest building in town. Lovely the way it is lit up at night. The breakfast was outstanding - offering all kinds of local foods I wanted to try (mozzarella di bufalo, black olives, sundried tomatoes in olive oil and many more), plus bread meat, cheese, variety of juices etc. all set in a lovely outdoor garden. Room was a bit small but decent.

  Great location close to station beach shops etc yet in a quiet area. Manager Francesco was professional and extremely helpful. He was able to provide directions and recommendations of where to eat and how to get around. Taxi driver Antonella who attends to many of the clients was also extremely helpful and a lot of fun. - We stayed 3 nights and w... wat mensen zeggen » e're completely satisfied. The room included a small balcony, was most comfortable and very pleasant. The owners could not be more welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend this B&B.

  We wanted a quality hotel with a view having driven down from Tuscany to Reggio Calabria, somewhere to relax before taking the ferry to Sicily the next day.   Stayed there for 4 days. Villino Eleonora is a pretty cool and classy place on the edge of small town of Parghelia. Territory is shared between owner's villa and house with rooms for rent. Hotel is located high above the sea, and overlooking part of Tropea and sea itself. Beach is also in walking distance, but don't make a mistak - We were delightfully taken back in time of grandeur staying at this beautiful B&B. The accommodations are separate from the main villa, with your own patio to sit and watch the view. The garden was peaceful and relaxing to walk in, Alessandro and his mother cooked the best breakfast that we had on our trip.   Myself and wife had a long drive to the hotel that day, having booked only the day before as we needed a location close to the ferry across to Messina. It was refreshing to be greeted by the owner whom was only too helpfull and friendly, and his daughter also.
