  I cannot express enough how wonderful this little hotel is. It is a little gem on the coast of Italy and if you venture this far down the coast you should make this your your base. Sandra, Vinchenza (sorry if I have spelt it wrong)and Carla are the most gracious hosts and nothing is a trouble or an inconvenience. Breakfast on the Terrace was superb, the best of our whole trip and Carla made w - Delightful hotel and staff like a family. Wonderful shower and comfortable bed with high quality sheets. Very near center of old town and piazza with restaurants and very near the Pizzo train station and about 4 km from Vibo Pizzo train station. But it's all uphill com the Pizzo station so appreciated that the hotel picked us up in their shuttle. Excellent continental breakfast plus bacon and eggs if you want them.

  The atmosphere of the calm and modern hotel is very friendly, dedicated staff, great great food, we enjoyed that this hotel is not part of the typical tourism business as usual, but it is very Italian. We stayed with two children in May 2010 and used the pool extensively, as well as the sea which is close and totally clear, beautiful.   Everything! This hotel was a sensation. Supposedly ***, it puts many a **** to shame. Loads of parking. We were greeted by the manager (owner?) on arrival with a bowl of delicious fresh fruit and things just got better. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was not only superb but also reasonably pr - Outstanding service by staff was way above and beyond what was expected, starting with a bowl of fruit delivered to our room shortly after we arrived. Much more fruit was available than at the 15 or so other hotels we have stayed. Excellent (very fast) internet service was included. We had a magnificent meal at the restaurant with 16 kinds of seafood. Owner is very attentive to customer needs and staff go way out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction.   The popilia country resort was very relaxed and comfortable with friendly helpful staff and an excellent restaurant. The view from our hotel room was magnificent. The surrounding area had many picturesque towns to visit both inland and on the coast. The gelato in Pizzo and Tropea was superb. The road leading up to the Popilia Resort from the ss18 ... wat mensen zeggen » was very hard to spot until we noticed there were amber flashing lights in both directions on the ss18 warning of a hidden junction which was the road - Everything, the chalet style rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The entrance to the resort was a wow factor and the views were spectacular. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We wished we could have stayed longer but tight schedule meant we could only stay one night
