  I absolutely loved my stay at Il Pettirosso. Set in the mountains behind the Amafli Coast, it's a true haven away from the main tourist towns. The room was big, spotlessly clean, with what looked like brand new furniture, including two big wardrobes and a good sized desk. I had a huge double bed and a balcony looking over the mountains. There's no menu, which I loved, just three tasty courses with wine and water for a very reasonable price. - Everything about ii pettirosso was fabulous from the welcome to the goodbye, the food was great proper Italian food, Ima and Eguane who own ii pettirosso are great cooks, the room was very spacious, very clean and if you needed anything at all you only had to ask, Marriana spoke very good English and could easily translate as our Italian was nil.   We had a wonderful stay with Columba at Le Nereidi. She helped us any any way thinkable. She booked a spot for us at great beaches every day. She also recommanded restaurants for us, and truly made us feel like a family member while we were there. It felt like we had an italian mom while we were there. I can tell you, it's not that hard, and it's wo - Hotel Le Nereidi was our favourite part of our holiday in Italy. My partner and I were completely shocked at the high quality accommodation it provided as the prices are so low. Our host Columba was so lovely and made our breakfast fresh every morning. It is a slight hike to get to the hotel but with the amount of food you will be eating it isn't so bad to do a little exercise. Columba was also very helpful when asking questions about traveling around the area, she had all the answers. Last of
