  First of all the excellent service. The owner Giuseppe is very friendly and helpful and although it is a little hotel, there is always someone at the reception where you can leave your keys, even at night. The breakfast is also nice.When we had to leave too early for a day trip, the owner gave us some croissants so that we could eat them in the tr... wat mensen zeggen » ain. We also appreciated a lot the minibar which was refilled every day with drinks, fruit and yoghurt. There is also a coffee machine and biscuits in - When we arrived to the hotel were wondering why it has so many positive evaluations - on the first sight nothing special - the hotel is just one floor in a standard building (not really nice), the room and the bathroom were standard... But! We were nicely invited by a smiling, friendly Italian man (even though it was 00:05), the breakfast was served very nicely with unlimited glasses of juice (3 different types) by another smiling friendly Italian man who has also drawn a complete picture of th

  This was the best hotel we've stayed in Italy! We've been to Roma, Firenze, Venezia on similar (cheap) hotels and this was by far the best. The outside look isn't great and can be a shock upon arrival, but most of the buildings in Palermo are like that, so don't be put off by your first impression. Once you enter the hotel you will find a very cle... wat mensen zeggen » an and spacious building. The staff was also the nicest we've met in all our travels. We stayed in a spacious room with TV, a mini-fridge, air-conditi - Recently refurbished with modern open public areas on ground floor with small bar area. Very comfortable reasonably sized room in which everything worked very well - efficient AC and excellent hot water pressure although the shower cubicle is one of those very compact jobs. The reception staff are very friendly, extremely helpful and informative and speak good English. The hotel is very centrally located and for the price it would be difficult to find a better hotel in Palermo.

  The staff is realy friendly. The location is good, quiet but walking distance from main touristic points. The parking is comfortable. The rooms were not luxurious, but well mantained, big and clean. For me, it was way much better than othe 3* hotels in Italy. - Very helpful guy in reception.Speak english. I didn't feel scared tho'.   Hotel Italia took up the whole fourth floor in a classic old building typical of Palermo on one of its main streets, via Roma. It was in a beautiful apartment, high ceilings and dark wooden floors, and quaint furnishing. We had a shared bathroom which was down a long corridor but - Good value for money, perfect location in the central street and very close to the main train station. Room was small but cosy and clean, breakfast was served in the room that made it also quite comfortable. Very nice and welcoming staff; the man working at reception at night shift(unfortunately I don't know his name) was very helpful and friendly.
