  We left the guys at home and did a sister trip across Italy, which commenced in Naples. This classy five star hotel was a fabulous way to deal with jet lag! We had a superb meal at the Hotel - The Grande Hotel Vesuvio is truly grand! It is an elegant top of the line hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival and had two large rooms beautifully furnished. They supply their guests with comfy terry robes and slippers and nice toiletries. Wi fi was free. The rooms are kept very clean also. We had a balcony on the front of the hotel and looked out on the waterfront with its boats, a castle that is lit at night, and Vesuvius looming in the distance. T

  The staff were excellent. It is in a very good situation although the immediate square it is in, is slightly run down and can be intimidating at first. If the noise of fireworks upsets you, this is not the hotel for you, as there are a number of firework shops in the square and during the festivals there are constant loud bangs.

The Covo degli Angioini is very well located, close to the harbor and a short walk from the shopping center. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful, they explained everything we could see how all the monuments and the most characteristic places to eat. They welcomed us really well. The room was large and very clean. We will be back gladly.

If your coming from America, expect room to be smaller than we're used to. We had a small room for the price of a suite in Vegas. The room has everything you will need.   The apartment was huge, from the pictures you can not understand the actual size of the apartment. Upon check-in we were greeted with a welcome drink very fresh. We did not expect to find such a nice hotel in a building. It 'was a great discovery this Covo degli Angioini. The area is very peaceful and quiet, we were really great. Despite being at 4 spaces available to us were great. The reception moved us to a bigger apartment than what we had booked and we were very happy about this. Breakfast served in the room at the time chosen by us. All very well organized.
