  We stayed at B&B Del Corso for two nights - the night we arrived in Naples at the start of our trip, and our last night in the city before departing Italy. The B&B was very easy to locate thanks to the map they provided (as well as our own google earth search). Located about 6min from the train station, and adjacent to the old city, the location can't be b - This is such a lovely place to stay. When we planned to stay in Naples and travel to Capri, sores to Pompeii from there we were a bit nervous as we were told by many many people that Naples is not a very safe city, and to some extent it is true. When we were approaching the place we felt a little odd in the surroundings although nobody bothered us one bit. Once we entered this lovely B&B everything changed.   Absolutely everything!! The hotel is so bright and crisp. The bathroom was spectacular with all the lovely marble and all the amenities; slippers, bathrobes, lots of towels and anything you may have left a home was already there. The location was perfect as we had tickets to the opera, not realizing the hotel was just around the corner. I would recommend t - In 2 weeks traveling around Italy, this is the best, without a doubt. The staff could not be faulted, rooms were modern and very clean, breakfast was the best continental buffet, and for the older part of the city, location was great. For further afield, a short walk to the Metro. Wins on all aspects of a great stay. Make sure you have an address in Italian, because it is a little hard to find 1'st time. ps. Skip Pompeii and go to Herculeum.

  I went to Naples for the first time last week and stayed at B&B Visconti. The hotel was 1st Class. Giorgio made me feel very welcome and at home. The room was of a very high standard,very clean and serviced daily. The breakfast was excellent and Giorgio made his own cakes. The hotel was central to all amenities but very peaceful and quiet.I h... wat mensen zeggen » ad a wonderful say and excellent value.I will definately stay here again when I come to Naples again. - Giorgio's place is very well done - he runs it himself and is opening a new location soon. The B&B is very tastefully decorated, cozy, and in a great location for sightseeing. Giorgio prepares breakfast every day - he is a cool Italian guy and helpful with recommending places to go and see. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the street outside - you can watch people eat, talk, and smoke.

Owner was gracious. Best cappuccino machine I encountered on our 3 week trip through Italy. Breakfast was fine.   The staff at Santa Lucia 50 were amazingly welcoming and consistently friendly. I had never met staff so keen to satisfy any need or issue we may have had. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, and provided us with a kitchenette and utensils to cater for our small group (which we found to be very unusual and convenient in typical Italian hot... wat mensen zeggen » els). There was also minimal noise from other rooms or street level. We would definitely stay again, we had a wonderful three nights at Santa Lucia. - The staff is so friendly, was a very warm welcome. The rooms are neat and tidy. The location is just perfect. Really this is a good value for your money. The B&B is nearby the coast and the city centre. They don't serve breakfast, but there is a supermarket across the street en a little refridgerator in the room. Seriously a great B&B with a great location that makes it very easy to see all of Naples.

De tweede dag het historisch centrum bezocht en kennis gemaakt met de bussen die veel vertraging hadden, dit leverde echter leuke gesprekken op met napolitanen:)) En natuurlijk te weinig gekletst met Giuliano, wat dat betreft hadden we een week kunnen blijven... wat mensen zeggen » ...... - Giulano was a welcoming host, very accessible and knowledgeable about the area with great recommendations for local restaurants within walking distance. There is off street parking for the rental car - very critical in Naples, even in this safe neighborhood. Accommodations were spotlessly clean. A great place to stay as a home base for the Amalfi drive, Pompei, Herculaneum and Capri.
