  The staff was incredible helpfully.nice people ,warm, etc. For me the convenience of being across the street from train station,plus the ink metro and lots of buses was a big plus. - Booked and paid for a single room, but had the use of two adjoining rooms which gave me a feeling of space.   The hotel is nice, clean and well managed by a friendly staff. Good location for reaching Perugia's historical center. Large parking area. An additional facility is the restaurant. Our room was a truly lovel - Breathtaking, luxurious 5 star accommodations. Worth the trip to Perugia just to stay here. When you book, be wary that the rates for single versus double occupancy are quite different (I accidentally hit "single" instead of double on letsbookhotel.com, when I arrived, found the room would be 60 € more a night for double). Still worth it! Gorgeous rooftop patio where we had a bottle of wine at sunset both nights. Breakfast was the average spread. Dinner at il Gradale (on site) was not our favou

  Had everything I ask for in a hotel room, en suite ,safe parking and superb location just by the escalators that take you straight into the historic centre. The room was clean and the breakfast was much better than I expected. Very good value - The hotel is exactly what you would expect and want from a Italian hotel.   Everything about S. Ercolano exceeded my expectations especially after an over-priced closet-of -a-room in Firenze. The room was quiet and very conveniently appointed. Staff was especially helpful with planning my tour around Umbria and gave my trip fond memories.
