The rooms are not cheap, but nothing in Europe is; however for the price, you are getting a wonderful stay during your time in Lucca. We had a 1 year old with us and was given the room most suitable, even though we only booked the night before our arrival. The room was big enough for all our luggage, pram and cot - The location, the decor, the amenities in the bathroom, a proper shower, the 4-poster bed and, most of all, the friendly and very helpful staff.

  Our stay at La Mimosa was such an enjoyable experience. The room was extremely comfortable and was beautifully decorated. The staff are always on hand to help you, providing great local knowledge and share some valued information of Lucca.   The lovely villa is set in the peaceful countryside,the only sound you hear at night is the clock town from the nearby village church. The owners are friendly and courteous and always willing to help with directions and any other questions you may have.   Casa Biancalana is echt een paradijsje in Lucca. Het is een schitterend autenthiek pand. Zeer sfeervol en romantisch ingericht. Het ontbijt in de tuin was fantastisch.   The warm welcome from Arianna was second to none, giving us guidance of where to eat in Lucca that evening. During breakfast we were treated like old friends by both Arianna and her mother.   We really enjoyed our stay. Every detail was taken care of in and out of the room. All kinds of little extras in the room and then there were bicycles available to each person at all times.   The room was very nice. The staff greeted us with a welcome and were very friendly. They made our stay so nice. The location was just a very short drive to Lucca. They also have a very nice breakfast that you can enjoy inside or outside as we did. This is a one of a kind B & B with its decorations. - The owners were absolutely amazing.
