The rooms are not cheap, but nothing in Europe is; however for the price, you are getting a wonderful stay during your time in Lucca. We had a 1 year old with us and was given the room most suitable, even though we only booked the night before our arrival. The room was big enough for all our luggage, pram and cot - The location, the decor, the amenities in the bathroom, a proper shower, the 4-poster bed and, most of all, the friendly and very helpful staff.

  We were met at the door by a member of staff who was extremely friendly and helpful with good information about Lucca. Later we had an issue with a door handle which was dealt with promptly. The beds were very comfortable and location was not far from piazza where buses arrive from Pisa airport. - Helpful and friendly staff. Amazing location in ... wat mensen zeggen » Lucca.   Our stay at La Mimosa was such an enjoyable experience. The room was extremely comfortable and was beautifully decorated. The staff are always on hand to help you, providing great local knowledge and share some valued information of Lucca.   We had a fantastic stay at Villa Cheli! Our room had direct access to the front balcony and for two days we felt we had our own private Villa in Italy! In addition to the kind staff, and nice accommodations, we had one of the best dinners of our trip through Italy at Villa Cheli! We had a minor problem in our bathroom and brought it to the staff's attention in the morning as we were leaving for our day's outing. When we returned everything was taken care of.   We loved the fact that is was an older Villa, just outside of the city center. Very Charming with a wonderful selection of breakfast items. A bit worn around the edges, but with a lot of character and charm. Large warm pool in a big, lush garden setting. Option to eat outdoors at each meal which we did. The room was a good size, excellent bed and the bathroom was modern with a nice bath. The oublic areas, bar and lounges were inviting and the staff were vey attentive. Overall it was fantastic.

  Casa Biancalana is echt een paradijsje in Lucca. Het is een schitterend autenthiek pand. Zeer sfeervol en romantisch ingericht. Het ontbijt in de tuin was fantastisch. Door de familie werden we werkelijk in de watten gelegd. Ze deden er alles voor om het ons naar de zin te maken. Het is was er heerlijk vertoeven. - Very friendly staff
