  The nuns were very welcoming. There were a couple nuns who spoke English, and the ones who didn't speak English were happy to go get one who did so we could get directions or recommendations on nearby restaurants. Their recommendation for Scaletta restaurant was spot on, great food, very reasonable prices. Liked the garden, lovely for eating break... wat mensen zeggen » fast in the sunshine. The 'shared bathroom' wasn't a problem at all, as the 'bathrooms' are actually each a small, separate room containing its own to - the staff was very friendly and polite. breakfast was good for us. i travelled with my mom and she enjoyed having breakfast in their green well maintained terrace, may be not enough for male travellers but for us it was more than ok. in walking distance to most sights. at first it was hard for us to find it so i would recommend to write them and ask for directions paying closer attention to how manyy blocks and which streets to pass once you get off the bus near the bridge. rooms are as simple

  Guilia Townhouse is a great place to stay when visiting Rome. It is literally right in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere and appreciated how easy it was to cross the river and dine in The Travestere neighborhood in the evenings. The townhouse itself is beautiful and restful. The bath and shower were modern and spotless. The breakfast was delic - A very personal hotel with "family feeling". Excellent location; perfect to be able to walk to all sights in the day and then just cross the bridge to have dinner in Trastevere in the evening. Very friendly people that were both very welcoming, helpful and keen to make sure we had a nice stay. One thing we really appreciated who travelled in December is also the heating and comfort of the place. I've been staying in many places in Italy where it's been cold inside in that time of the year.   the location was fabulous and we felt very safe there. We were in walking distance of most of the tourist attractions and also close to transport. Plenty of cafes right on the doorstep. I would highly recommend this Inn and this area. - Only three rooms but very nice and confortable in the middle of the old city!

  This place is a Trastevere gem! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of all of the action (noise wasn't too bad, didn't have to use the ear plugs I brought). Beautifully appointed, recently renovated rooms. Staying here made us feel like we were living like locals, rather than hotel guests. We arrived earlier than the 2pm check in but managed to catch the staff just b - Beautiful character rooms nicely renovated but remained charm, with lovely luxury details, like monsoon shower head , robes and slippers available to wear, .. Fridge with juice and able to make hot drinks at any time in room next door. Vouchers for a coffee and croissant provided for each day you are there, available at choice of 2 cafés within a few metres of entrance.

  We like Everything! We've being last year in Rome and stayed around the corner in a similar B&B This one is an "A Plus" one. Nice, clean, charm. Rates are more than reasonable. Excellent location. We'll come back. No doubt. Like in most of other places the rooms are small. But very nice designed and very very clean. It is in a cute old apartment with a very high tech and comfortable, nicely decorated rooms.
