The distance between houses on opposite side in this area are tiny co do not expect any view from your window. Rooms were lovely.Ours was small but had view of canal while our friends had a huge room to make up for lack of view, I reckon! Personally, I loved room with a view. We stayed in a 2/Bedroom 6 sleeper apartment which we found to be very spacious, well appointed and clean. The staff were very helpful. Being our first visit to Venice and having read that it was a little difficult to find (true as the venue is not well sign-posted), we called the duty manager from the nearest water taxi stop (S. Staff is excellent, always ready to please and help. Michelle speaks perfect English. Location is perfect. Although it is not on a canal, it's only 20 seconds walk to Grand Canal, 30 min leisuer walk to St. Marco's Squre, and 10 min walk to St. Lucia Train Station which is very convenient to us as we were travelling by train.
