  We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel really stood out in terms of quality (from what we saw of other hotels in venice). The staff (who all spoke at least some English) were friendly and helpful. The room was impressive and ours was bigger than I thought it would be after I read that some people thought the rooms were small. Check in was easy and quick! The hotel was in the quite end of town and away from the crowd. It is also a very short distance (5min) to the public transportation dock and maybe 15 min walk to the train station. Rooms very modern and clean. Hot water all week and lots of water pressure. Breakfast was hot everyday and delicious

The hotel building itself is a very historic palazzo, the mu - we loved the peace and quiet amongst the hustle bustle of Venice. the staff were charming the room was very comfortable well appointed and with a great view of the grand canal. it was very near to the waterbus and some charming small restaurants. we stayed there 2 years ago when they first opened and we would stay again.
