  We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel really stood out in terms of quality (from what we saw of other hotels in venice). The staff (who all spoke at least some English) were friendly and helpful. The room was impressive and ours was bigger than I thought it would be after I read that some people thought the rooms were small. Although the hotel first seemed is a li - After reading horror stories of small rooms and inconsistent service in Venice, we intentionally looked for a room with updates and some space and Carnival delivered both. Check in was easy and quick! The hotel was in the quite end of town and away from the crowd. It is also a very short distance (5min) to the public transportation dock and maybe 15 min walk to the train station. Rooms very modern and clean. Hot water all week and lots of water pressure. Breakfast was hot everyday and delicious

Cannaregio is maybe the best district inVenice: it's close to the Center (either on foot or by vaporetto), butthere're a lot of cheap shops, supermarkets and charming restaurants.Although, on our last day I fell into the water, but I think it's notthe H... wat mensen zeggen » otel's fault:D:D - There was a flood just a day before our arrival. We called up to the hotel and they asked whether we wanted to cancel our booking. They also said that despite flood the hotel had no problems and they were looking forward to their guests to arrive. We decided go and stay their. No we do not regret about this decision and can recommend the hotel to everybody

Best thing was that there was a Grocery store(super store) just at 1 minute walk from the apartment and 2 to 3 good r - A warm welcome from Arrigo started our wonderful 4 day Venice experience! Do take notice of his recommendations! We stayed in a 2 bed apartment very close to bus and train station. Apartment was very clean, spacious and kithcen had everything you needed for either a quick breakfast or dinner. Coop (supermarket) just around the corner (5 mins walk) or a smaller corner shop 2 mins away.

Although it is not on a canal, it's only 20 seconds walk to Grand Canal, 30 min leisuer walk to St. Marco's Squre, and 10 min walk to St. Lucia Train Station which is very convenient to us as we were travelling by train.   First things my friend and me appreciate the best is Elena who is the owner of the apartment. She is very nice and enthusiastic to provide many effective information and help to us. What's more, the location and environment impressed us unexpectedly!
