  Hotel Mecenate Palace is centraal gelegen, op wandelafstand van vele bezienswaardigheden (Trevi Fontein, Spaanse Trappen, Colloseum enz.). Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook leuk was dat we konden ontbijten op het dakterras, keuze overdekt of buiten, met zicht op Rome! Buitengewoon! De kamer met uitzicht op de Santa Maria Maggiore was fantastisch! De kamer werd elke dag heel goed schoongemaakt. Het ontbijt was heerlijk, alles werd steeds weer opnieuw aangevuld.Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van stazione termini en alle bezienswaardigheden. Dit hotel is een aanrader!!

  De inrichting was smaakvol, gezellig, warm en origineel. Ligging is erg centraal. Kamer en badkamer waren super schoon! Ontbijt is prima verzorgt, bij vroege vertrek op de vertrekdag werd in de avond nog een dienblad gegeven op de kamer, erg vriendelijk. The bathroom was very large and also comfortable. Lu made our stay memorable. She treated us like family and was extremely helpful to me when I sprained my ankle; she sent my husband out to the pharmacy for a special cream and came to the room with ice for my ankle and a tray with hot tea and cake. She also gave us great advice on places to eat. Casa di Eddy is located wonderfully - The staff were friendly, hotel was lovely and clean. There was a kitchen which had a fridge you could use and cakes / tea / coffee left out . Free breakfast from the cafe across the road. We had the economy room with the external bathroom. 5 minutes walk from the Colosseum although we did walk to the Vatican which took an hour. The metro station was around the corner and for 1.50 euros takes you to the Vatican in 10mins. If you have never been to Rome there isnt really a central location to vis

I am a young woman, and could walk around without my husband even in the eve - It has a great location. You can reach everything by foot with a short walk (or talk the metro if you want to). Usually the area close to the train station is not great, but this hotel is located in the best area close to the train station. We were out until midnight every day, and only met friendly people. The breakfast is great and the room is spacious and very silent. The staff is very friendly, never had so much insider information at check-in. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

  We stayed here for almost 4 days. The Hotel was very nice. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. Our bathroom was neat and clean and the shower was very nice. The staff was helpful and courteous. Location was a major plus point. Its unbelievably close to the Roma Termini and we were easily able to catch a tourist bus (hop on-hop off).   Tomas was excellent. Our plane was late and he waited for us and made us feel welcome and comfortable. We had an early departure and he ensured that we had a full breakfast. He was very helpful with different questions we had. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Great location. We have travelled a great deal and this was a good find. We asked he for help in August for a late Sept visit, but that restaurant was closed for August. She wrote down our request in her diary and called the restaurant the first day it opened. Incredible! She is very nice as well.
