  Amazing place . Excellent location 3 min walk from the Coliseum and 5 minutes walk from the Metro . Staing at the b&b allows you to reach any point in Rome by foot without using public transportation at all. The place itself is very, very clean with ensuring every little detail of comfort. Large room has everything you need after a long day o... wat mensen zeggen » f hiking in Rome, best advised to return after a long day of hiking and get in to a hot Jacuzzi tub to relaxed and start the next day filing like new - Very warm welcome, the young couple managing this B&B/appartment was friendly, helpfull and kind. we stayed for 3 nights in the "suite" with the water bed and the spa. the room is furnished with taste and every little detail is thought through. the bathroom is furnished with stone and wood which makes it relaxing and modern. We enjoyed, of course, the huge bubble bath with essential oils ( nothing better after a long day walking!). i definetly recommend the suite for the confort, localisati

  We stayed at Relais De L'Opera for our honeymoon in Rome and it was an excellent choice. We were contacted in advance and offered various options for a transfer to the hotel from the airport, and chose a private driver who was there and waiting for us. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by very friendly staff who gave us a map and showed us h... wat mensen zeggen » ow to get to the tourist attractions, and showed us to our room where a bottle of prosecco was chilling for us! What a lovely gesture! The room was be - We are highly reccomend this hotel for the visitors. There all neccessary things for the rest and wonderful passtime. Good location on a quiet street, adjacent to one of the main street of the city, allows to get quickly to the all historical areas and of Rome. Clean renovated rooms, comfortable bed and lovely linens - a great opportunity to rest and recover after 10-12 hours of walking around the city. Staff attentive and friendly.   The reason I chose this hotel was the fabulous location - when in Rome,I spend most of my time at the ancient monuments, and this place is right at the bottom of the via Cavour, literally a minute or two from the Roman and Imperial Fora. I had a deluxe room and it was lovely - faciltities were good, nice shower, tv, safe, fridge - all you would ne... wat mensen zeggen » ed. Everything was clean and though the style of decor would, for some, probably be a little out of date, I thought it was quite charming. Note though - Once we arrived the staff was prompt and happy to greet us. Though we didn't speak Italian they spoke enough English to communicate perfectly. The stay was great, we decided we needed to stay a second night without booking it and they ensured me it wasn't a problem offering me the same rate. Ana Paola and Luigi were extremely polite and helpful. The location is right dead in the heart of Ancient Rome, absolutely amazing for the price. Tons of restaurants and bars close as well.

Metro VERY close to use for Vatican,Colosseum,etc. Had family room for 4 - seperate bed and a couch for 10 and 13 year-old kids, heavy curtain between kids' beds and adult bed, 2 balcony doors to view of St. Peter's, quiet and blinds/curtains for darkening.
