  What a find! This little gem of a place is located right in the heart of our favorite section of Venice, Dorsoduro. It's very easy to find, whether you approach from the train/bus station or the vaporetto stop. Warm welcome by Maria and her crew, who made us feel like family and are an absolute delight in every way. We didn't use the v - What impressed me most is Maria, the owner of the guesthouse. She is unbelievably helpful even before I arrive! On my departure day, I went to Venice Biennale and almost missed my boat to the airport, but Maria personally took my luggage to the pier so that I did not have to go back to the guesthouse to get it! Everything else in the guesthouse is cozy family feel! BTW, if you fly to venice, the guesthouse is 4 mins walk to Ca'Rezzonico, an airport boat stop, so extremely convenient. All in all

The room was awsome - looked like a converted one-bedroom with big sitting area, huge bedroom, big bathroom with a bath-tub I am still wondering wheth... wat mensen zeggen » er I ended up in the "suite" instead of my reserved "standard" room :) It even had a kitchenette Second floor with a balcony facing a narrow canal - w - The location is good. Take waterbus line 1 (towards Lido) or line 2 (towards S Marco) and get off at Accademia. Cross the bridge n pass the museum you will find a little bridge next to a cafe. You will see the signboard of Casa Arte.

We would definitely recommend this accommodation for the location alone, but the room was also big and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. Our friends stayed in a three star hotel down the road and we were not allowed in to have some rest with them but instead was treated like animals.
