Locatie, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel - I can't say enough about Hotel Perseo. The staff were great. The breakfast was great. The bed was very comfortable -- especially for Italy. The room looked great and the shower was great. All that and you are right by the Duomo. - I have stayed at Hotel Perseo three times now. The location is perfect

The staff were very friendly and helpful! In most cases when I've asked a hotel for a double bed when we've arrived we got a different room; this is the first hotel in a long time where we had the double bed we asked for! The location is fantastic and you can hardly hear the noise on the street.

The grounds are gorgeous, rooms comfotable and meals generous. I don't speak a word of Italian but still managed to communicate well enough with the sisters. It's nice to end the day of seeing Florence's sights with an evening here - stay for a dinner one night too. The bus into town is about 10min walk - so take a taxi there from station (about 12euro) if you've got baggage then jump on the bus the other days. I loved it here.
