  Francesco the owner made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived and he was a wonderful host for the duration of my stay in Rome. The location of Baldassini is perfect. It is so central that most things are within very easy walking distance, and it's always such a pleasure to walk the streets of this beautiful city. The street was qu - I was a bit nervous booking this because there weren't many reviews, but it far exceeded our expectations! Breakfast was the best, complete with scrambled eggs and fried bacon along with the normal Italian breakfast staples. The owners are wonderful hosts and had amazing recommendations for dinner.   Location is excellent in - walking distance to most major attractions. Lots of good restaurants close by. Room size was great, very spacious and very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel arranged an airport pick up and drop off for us which was helpful. We rented bikes from a small bike shop close by (details were at the reception), and saw even more of the city. Just be careful of t - Location is great! Breakfast - in the room or on the common terrace - very good. This is a b&b on the 2nd floor of an old block, and once you get to the 2nd floor it's excellent, the rooms are large, well fitted out, clean and well serviced. However, although the booking photos show the plaza, the entrance to the building is a steel barred gate on a small side street which the taxi found tough to locate. The initial impression from the entrance gate is therefore not as expected.

  I can't say enough about Nadia who was so helpful and attentive to our every need. Nothing was too much trouble for either Nadia or her colleague Maria and there was a mobile phone in the room which we could take with us if we had any questions, needs or if we got lost, which we did a lot although we did find our way eventually without having to c... wat mensen zeggen » all Nadia. I would highly recommend this hotel for the staff and location alone but it ticks all the boxes. It's not a flash 5 star hotel but its perf - The location was great and once you get your bearings and how the streets are signposted, it was easy to get around. The staff were great and very helpful. A big thanks to Nadia and Maria who helped with last minute tour issues via email. Breakfast was good and expresso did the trick first thing in the morning. Rooms were comfortable and clean and all we expected. It was close to the bus drop off from airport so no need for finding taxis.
