  the hotel was just a 5 min walk from Piazza san marco , a bit difficult to find but won't get you more than 10 mins the 1st time to find it . The girl in the reception is just adorable , very helpfull and very easy going . we stayed on a lovely room by the canal with my wife . very quiet area and yet very close to everything . breakfast was pret... wat mensen zeggen » ty standard , but very fresh and nice .we would stay there again definetely! - It was a perfect location, a 5-10 minute walk to St. Mark's Square but tucked away from the crowds of tourists in Venice. It was as nice as a hotel but felt small and quaint instead of industrial. The staff member that worked there was extraordinary. She was the most pleasant person we met in Venice.

  This is a wonderful small hotel. We had a fantastic room with view of San Marco. Very luxurious decor, and really nice staff. Highly recommendable! (Didn't try the breakfast) - Excellent room, clean and elegant. Very friendly

  Location was about 10 mins walk from St. Marks Square. Close yet far enough away from crowds. Rooms were lovely.Ours was small but had view of canal while our friends had a huge room to make up for lack of view, I reckon! Personally, I loved room with a view. Staff very helpful and breakfast very tasty. All in all, great value.

With only the map provided from their website I went straight from the St. Mark's vaporetto stop (from the airport) to the B&B with no wrong turns. The design is very stylish, the room and the hotel are very clean. The reception was very welcoming and the owner, Valerio, was very helpful. We were two young couples - one with a four year old child - and the appartment made our trip really easy.   As many reviewers comment, the entrance is sparse at best. The entrance is no indication of the hotel once you get up the stairs. We aren't sure why some reviewers comment harshly on the stairs... The location of this hotel is exceptional! It was a two minute walk to St. Mark's square (once we got oriented) which allowed us to visi - Great location-close to everything. Staff was very helpful and informative. Kept very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great on the patio. Do have to climb a lot of stairs (no elevator) but very nice place. - Location was perfect. Nice to be able to put all 5 of us in one room. Staff were very easy to work with and accomodated some special requests and made good recommendations for dinner, sight-seeing, etc..

  The location was ideal, 5-10mins walk from where the airport transfer boat drops you off, and the same distance to the famous Rialto Bridge. All staff were very friendly, welcoming and had good English. The thick curtains, very effective against early morning sunshine and light sleepers. No sound carried through the walls. Bottles of water from the mini bar in the room were cheap - It is a beautiful hotel tucked away on a quiet street back in the smaller canals. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. It is also near the main hospital of Venice, which was an unexpected blessing for us during our stay.
