Has a small elevator which helps to transport luggage (we were on 4th floor). Breakfast vouchers for food from cafe next door which gave a fruit drink, coffee, croissant and sandwich.   Our room was large, elegantly decorated to reflect the Renaissance period, including a beautifully painted and lighted ceiling, and filled with antiques and marble tiling. We felt very luxurious! Bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. We were within easy walking distance of the Duomo and other major sights and restaurants. Definitely would stay here agai - This B&B is in a renovated Terrace Mansion on the 1st Floor up the stairs. the rooms are nice with marble floors, cable TV. best time to have a shower is early morning or late afternoon/evening as hot water can run out during checkout times! its a nice place to stay though as just a short walk to the big churches and the Uffizi gallery. Make sure you ring in advance before you arrive so the owner can meet you there with the key - we had to wait for him to arrive for 15 mins to let us in.

  We were impressed by maps and useful information of the city given after checking in at the hotel by a hotel staff. The hotel is few steps of walk to Duomo. To our knowledge, there aren't many public toilets available in Florence. So, we found it very convenient to go back and forth between the hotel and tourist attractions during the day in case... wat mensen zeggen » that we had to use toilet without waiting in the long line. Even though the breakfast isn't included, the unlimited amount of drinking water and cup - We were presently surprised to discover that there is a little kirchen in our room so we were able to prepare our favorite hot instant comfort food!   Location...a side street which is a few hundred yards from the Cathedral in one direction and Michelangelo's David (Museum) in the other, within walking distance from the railway station and everything else in central Florence. Good, Large Room. For a family of four we had a double and two single beds. (Lorenzo Room). Breakfast was fantastic. Friendliness...g - Florence Dream Domus was the best hotel we stayed in during our entire Europe trip. The location is fantastic, the place is quaint, art-deco and very chic, and a word of appreciation is due for the Manager's/ overseer's of the property, Mr. Lorenzo & Ms. Laura. We have never met such helpful, considerate or polite hotel staff ever, even in luxury hotels. They went out of their way to may our stay memorable! We strongly recommend the place.
