  The Cà del Gando is the single sweetest and coziest B&B I've ever been in. It's very well situated in the middle of the Brescia historical centre a stone throw away from the Santa Giulia museum. Some 75m from the B&B there's a free car park in front of a Carabinieri barracks (so I'd imagine very safe). The hotel is perfectly situated in the historical centre of Brescia and is still in a quite street. The host was a very friendly and helpful person. A big advantage is a private parking, since public parking facilities in the city centre are generally overcrowded. The breakfast was generous and varied and the hotel is an easy walk to the metro in P. Vittoria, which I used daily to go to and from my conference site.   The location was amazing. The apartment is convenient to restaurants, shopping, tourist sites, bus stops, and the metro stations. The apartment was comfortable and cozy. It has character and charm. I highly recommend this place for extended or short-term stays. Unlike a hotel, it made me feel like I was apart of the community and not another touri... wat mensen zeggen » st/visitor. The owner is very friendly and helpful. - Wonderful Host who meet us on arrival and helped us with directions and printing out travel tickets for us. Location is great with everything right out your front door - the very easy bus system, getting groceries, shopping and dining. The Castle & the city centre is a short walk as well, but I recommend using the bus as it stops right out the front of the apartment.

  The hotel is in the heart of the city but at the same time on a nice and quite street. The owner is very hospitable and explained us in details the places we must see in the city. The room was very stylish and comfortable, also clean and tidy. The breakfast is rich and delicious...in one sentence - if you go to Brescia you definitely should stay ... wat mensen zeggen » in La Filanda! - Very little to add to what previous guests have said. Exceptionally clean, as if spanking new; central but quiet location; above-average breakfast... The host in particular, Gaetano, much more helpful than many tourist information offices and did his job very professionally. A lovely place indeed!
