  The design of Hotel Metropolis was very cool--modern, clean, chic. I absolutely loved the decor in our room and throughout the hotel. Our room was a good size for two people--just enough space--and the bathroom was very modern and clean (something that can be a rarity in other Italian hotels). The Lepanto a metro stop is just a few blocks away, so seeing the rest of Rome is easy and getting to the Termini train station is very convenient.   The location, top notch! The flexibility offered by it's proximity to numerous of the important and historical sights of Rome, made Hotel Adriano the best hotel option for us. We highly recommend Hotel Adriano to all travelers. The Pantheon, Trevy Fountain, and Spanish Steps are all within a short 15 minute walk (or less!); even The Vatican is ... wat mensen zeggen » about a 20 minute walk; and the Colesseum is about 30 minutes...we never needed a taxi, and that was a huge advantage at staying at Hotel Adriano. Oh - Location Location Location! 5 minutes walk to the Pantheon or Piazza Navona which is a good starting point for any visit to Rome. Delux Room had plenty of space and comfortable, albeit 2 single beds pushed together, rather than the double we were expecting. Air conditioning was a life saver in the heat. Our room for 4 was in a loft-style room so I loved the extra space!
