Could not want a better location just minutes from Ponte Vecchio on the quieter side of the river.   We stayed at Villa Cora in July which was a pretty hot season in Florence. And Villa Cora has an amazing pool area which is a huge advantage among the best hotels in Florence. Chill by the pool after a great day at the museums. It's just fantastic. Staff is professional. Food is good. Free shutle bus takes you to the center of Florence and back e... wat mensen zeggen » very 30 minutes. And it is only a 5 minutes drive to the old city, so the location is the best. One of the best hotels we have ever been. And believe - The weekend spent at Hotel Villa Cora was a great experience. The beauty of the building, the attention to details and privacy you get are good reasons to go back. The services, professionalism and kindness of the staff was something we also enjoyed. The hotel is close enough to the center (if you are not used to always be in the car) and they also offer a shuttle which we took on the way back in the evening. Great stay in a beautiful place.
