  Paolo was exceptionally personable and fun. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom very large and had a great jetted shower. Breakfast was nice and the rest of the staff were accommodating. Internet always worked perfectly. Great location just nex to Porta Nuova train station. Staff is very friendly and even remembered me from previous visit. Breakfast is elaborate for Italian standards. Excellent value for money. I would not consider any other hotel when trave - The staff is great. Any question I asked I got the answer. Breakfast is very good. Coffee is fabulous. The location is good because it is about 3-5 minutes walking from Porta Nuova railway station. If you travel somewhere it is very convinient. The bus from the Torino airport stops also close from the hotel.

  The staff was very kind and helpful. - The staff is nice and kind, our room was clean, the hotel is easily reachable by foot in 5 mins from Porta Nuova railway station, the breakfast is adequate but not large. You can deposit your luggage if you have some time to spare between the check-out and your train/flight. - Hotel Romano is exactly what I expected - a cheap hotel near the train station. It is only about 2 minutes from platform to hotel lobby. The sights in the central part of town are a very easy 15 minute walk or so. The hotel is managed by a Chinese family who are nice and accommodating. The room was basic but quite large, adequately appointed (minus a fridge) and warm in December.

It probably used to be very hip and trendy back in the '80s, now it's a bit worn and outdated. But it doesn't take away the comfort. Actually some of the furniture may be really expensive nowadays.
