  Our hotel was fantastic. It's too bad we were only in Naples for one night. More like a B&B, it is set right in the heart of Naples between the Spanish quarter and the historic centre in a beautifully restored old building, which is the perfect point to walk and explore the city. Our room was spacious and full of light. The bathroom was nice a... wat mensen zeggen » s well and was not en-suite but it was just outside our door so it wasn't an issue for us. Breakfast was such a spread – cereal, croissants, cold meat - Our welcome by Umberto and Adriana set the tone for our stay at Spaccanapoli. We were greeted by them both , offered a drink and presented with a selection of pastries to enjoy whilst the usual check- in procedures were being completed. Umberto gave us a thorough and passionate overview of Naples, the local area, eateries, sights etc.. The facilities are great, rooms large and comfortable and very secure.   Had a fantastic time here! The Italian couple that owns the B&B are delightful and full of energy. Made us feel very welcomed since the first moment we step foot on the place -even gave us a welcome beer on the house when we first got there and sang me happy birthday at midnight as a surprise. B&B is very well located in the center of the... wat mensen zeggen » very busy Via Toledo, at great walking distance to all the main sights, Santa Clara and the harbor and only 20 minutes ride to the airport. Also has - We enjoyed our stay at the 'New York of Naples' - it was a very smooth transatlantic crossing!!. Fabrizio and Aida were extremely friendly, enthusiastic and helpful hosts - our lack of Italian was no problem!. Lovely complimentary coffee/tea/juice etc as well as welcome beer 'alla spina' on arrival. Thank you also for the oranges which we enjoyed on the train!! An excellent selection of cafes too in which to use our breakfast voucher. Location ideal for a stroll in the historic part of Nap
