  The location is THE unique selling point of this hotel, it's within a couple of minutes walk of the Duomo etc. Always felt very safe as it's on a busy street. Perfect to be able to drop off shopping between purchases, take an afternoon siesta or pop out late in the evening for a nightcap, gelato or a stroll around central Milan.   The location was number 1, followed closely by a wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Every single person I met in the hotel was nice and they went out of their way to orient me in Milan. The rooms were modern and spotless. I have already reccomended La Madoninna to everyone that mentions possibly going to Milan. Fascilities include air-conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi free of charge, fridge, safe. The bed is very cozy, whippy and silent. Everything is clean (floor, towels etc).   The hotel was very well maintained. There is a small elevator which was great for heavy bags. My room was attended every day and the towels were changed daily. The woman who cleaned the rooms did a great job and was very pleasant. The entry is a bit dark which was a little off-putting at first, but it really is more about the use of a lot of dark ... wat mensen zeggen » wood and paint colors in the decor. My bed was comfortable. Sheets were nice and I had 2 pillows, plus a heavy blanket in the closet. The wifi which - The staffs are excellent, they are very nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is good, easy to get to the main attractions and all the public transportation in Milan. But, it is a little bit difficult to find the hotel at the beginning. The hotel is really good for single travellers especially for those who would like to walk through the city like me.

  Erg vriendelijk personeel en mooie kamer met alls wat je nodig hebt.Ligt nog geen 5 minuten lopen van een grote winkelstraat en 10 minutenlopen van het centraal station. Ook de metro was niet verder dan 5minuten lopen. Vantevoren had ik gelezen dat er geluidsoverlast zoukunnen zijn, maar hier heb ik niks van gehoord. Het ontbijt is simpelmaar zeker... wat mensen zeggen » voldoende. - Vriendelijk personeel voordeel was dat ze goed engels spraken.

  I do not agree with any of the negative reviews on this absolutely magnificent hotel. You get what you pay for and maybe even more. The room was spacious, clean and very bright. The furniture is not the most fashionable in the world but it's a hotel you need to rest in, not have any parties nor anything. The breakfast was very satisfying, lots of quality products, freshly baked and delicious cakes, fresh fruit and a great variety o - Excellent location, beautiful building with wonderful quadrangles within each of the two parts, comfortable rooms. We disagreed about the bizarre paintings on the marble floors, I thought they spoil the effect, while my friend has found them acceptable.

  we liked their hospitality and friendliness. The hotel staff was very helpful. They especially called a person knowing Indian Language(Hindi) so that we do not have any difficulty in communicating things. The breakfast was wholesome and specially the person (?forgetting name) who used to serve us tea and cappuccino.
