  I really liked the hotel. It is located next to St. Anthony's Cathedral. There is a nice restaurant in the same building and it's also possible to buy soft drinks etc. to be taken with you. There are also a lot cafes, souvenir shops, restaurants all around the piazza. Donatello is old family owned hotel. It was very cozy and personnel was very fri... wat mensen zeggen » endly and spoke good English. Huge thanks especially to a beautiful receptionist with blonded hair with ponytail. Unfortunately I never heard her name - This was a first class hotel in the very best part of town. The staff was warm, friendly, and spoke perfect English. They even helped me with my not so great Italian. The room was spotlessly clean, more spacious than usual for European hotels, and ours overlooked the basilica, so beautiful. Breakfast was abundant, fresh, and diverse. It is a very short bus ride to the train, if you are using Padova as a base for Venice, Verona, and Vicenza as we did. I cannot more highly recommend this hotel.

  plaats is echte té gek, alles binnen loopafstand, prima ontbijt, mooi gerenoveerd kamers in een oud gebouw - Locatie was voor mij prima, vlak bij het station, omdat ik vanuit Padova een aantal keren naar Venezia ben gereisd. In het hotel zijn vooral de ontbijtzalen fraai van aankleding en op een mooie ochtend heerlijk zonnig.

  De ligging in Padua is goed maar om er er de eerste keer te komen toch wel problematisch. Als je het weet geen probleem meer.DE bus naar de stad/centrum komt vlakbij langs en dat is goed. Eeen nadeel is dat er maar een (zeer goed) restaurant in de buurt is. Je moet dus steeds 's avonds de bus nemen om in de stad te gaan eten en in Padua rijdt geen ... wat mensen zeggen » bus meer naar 20.25 uur! - De bediening van het personeel was uitermate vriendelijk, niets was teveel.Ze waren behulpzaam, vriendelijk en attent.
