  The hotel is basic but really good value for money. The decor is dated but is really clean and tidy. We had cleaners come into the room daily swept moped and clean towels and sheets. The hotel is basically on the front of the canal about 1min walk from san marco square. We arrived in the dark via water bus from piazza de roma the no1 and where it ... wat mensen zeggen » stopped walk to the left over a bridge and to the left there is a taxi hut and opporsite that is an alley go down there 50meters and the hotel is on t - Great location just two blocks from San Marco square and one block from the water taxi (Vaporetto). Everybody was friendly and helpful. They allowed us to store our bags for several hours after we checked out so we could sightsee until it was time to catch our train.

Our friends stayed in a three star hotel down the road and we were not allowed in to have some rest with them but instead was treated like animals.   Very nice clean room in the center of Venice. We got map and the hotel owner told us, where should we go, recommended some restaurants.... The breakfast was also nice, served in the room: coffee, juice, buns, croissant/muffin, butter, jam, cheese, joghurt. We, two girls, liked the room and service very much and would stay again there. Wifi was als... wat mensen zeggen » o available, signal was not so strong in the room, but who really needs internet on holiday? - Nice, cosy room with air conditioning. We had very friendly staff who told us where good local restaurants and tourist attractions were. The best thing about this hotel was the location, very close (5 minute walk) from St Mark's Square. Considering this, the price per night was also pretty good value

  The staff were fantastic: friendly, obliging, and went the extra mile whenever we asked for anything. The hotel is small but our room was quite large. The whole place is well kept, comfortable and, coupled with the warm service, has a very homely feel. It is 2 mins walk to St. Marks Sq and about 4-5 mins walk to the Rialto Bridge. Having said that... wat mensen zeggen » , the street is not a throughway so no crowds passing by. Perfect! - The layout is such that all of our three rooms were a few steps from where the owner or other staff were seated. They were very attentive to our needs, We came in two groups and both needed help finding the place. In both cases the staff found us and guided us to the hotel.
