  Fantastic hotel with great staff. We arrived early and were able to check straight in. The hotel is quiet and spotless, easily the cleanest I have stayed in whilst travelling around Italy for 5 weeks. The breakfast was enjoyable with cereal and fruit (limited) a nice change from sweet bread or croissants, althiugh they were also available. Great l... wat mensen zeggen » ocation, will definately say here again. - Upon returning to Hotel Rivamare, we were so warmly welcomed, it felt like coming home to family. Our beautiful oceanview room with terrace was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and eating on the terrace in front of the sea was exceptional. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Ischia and, already, I can't wait to return. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

If you've never been to Ischia, you should know that this is about a 30 minute bus or taxi ride from the two major ports; if you stay here, try catching the ferry to the smaller port in Forio.   Prachtig uitzicht vanuit restaurant en zwembad, uitgebreid ontbijt, mogelijkheid tot diner, thermisch en gewoon zwembad, propere en ruime kamer, behulpzaam personeel - Nice hotel, nice room (maybe the shower could be changed to get it surrounded, as now the water flows out to the bathroom), gorgeous view, great food, morning coffe from the bar (n... wat mensen zeggen » ot the usual fake-coffe, but the real one!), the free termal beach at 200 meters (it is really awsome sitting in the see and in a thermal bath in the same time), hotel itself is in a very quet area, but you have Panza in less than 1km, and also Forio and Sant'Angelo: both worth for a night out. Rent a scooter to get a - The people, the location, the peaceful atmosphere, and the food are all so wonderful. The staff was very welcoming and they helped my friend and I very much. We loved it so much, we ended up staying four days just at this hotel. I would certainly recommend this hotel to everyone and especially visiting Ischia rather than visiting the more touristy Capri.   Well situated, a lovely 15 min walk into town. Beach 8 mins down the hill. Clean, simple, effective. We hired a car (40E pd) to explore the island. Perfect size to do that. - Friendly and helpful reception staff, handy for beach and town by foot - albeit a 20 minute walk is good for us.

  Pera di Basso ligt op een waanzinnig mooie plek op Ischia, hoog in de bergen. Het is een klein paradijsje. De eigenaars Mario en Anita zijn zeer gastvrij, zorgen elke dag voor vers ontbijt en avondeten en hebben veel goede tips over het eiland. Ook voor onze kleine baby werd elke dag vers gekookt. We vonden het waanzinnig en zouden zo teruggaan. D... wat mensen zeggen » e weg ernaar toe is lastig met eigen auto, maar de eigenaar haalt en brengt je iedere dag naar een bereikbare parkeerplek. - Everything that Pera Di Basso offered pleased us very much. To begin, our trip from the ferry to the argriturismo was an adventure: the extremely narrow street, the forest and vineyards were so picturesque. The setting was majestic, overlooking the sea, graciously decorated with flowers, gardens, a pool, lounge chairs: all an invitation to relax and slow down. Owner Mario and Anita were so very welcoming, speaking only a little English, but so eager to make our stay perfect, which they did. We - Beautifully restored old farm. Friendly, family run, good food from their own gardens, fabulous views, peaceful rural location.

Almost all food is naturally sourced from the local farm.
