  We had a wonderful 4-days stay at the charming and elegant Villa Lucrezia!!!. We loved it !!! We asked for an apartment with view to the street and we got the ''CORALLO'' apartment w ith 3 big windows overlooking the nice Piazza Puccini.(( there are also more quiet apartments overlooking the back yard , but we lik... wat mensen zeggen » e to watch the city life...)) The apartment is big and extremely comfortable with seperate bedroom, big and comfortable kitchen and big h - We were a group of seven and were in two apartments. Both had full kitchens with refrigerators & microwaves, large bedrooms, ample relaxed seating, and nice bathrooms with large showers. The location was excellent with bus stops across the road which could take and return us to Florence in about 10-minutes. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very good. Finally, the price was fantastic, especially for what was included.

  There are many 5 stars hotels in Florence. Il Salviatino is definitly the most special of them all. It's comfort, beauty, luxury, perfect location, and hospitality goes beyond any other experience. We stayed three nights there and longed to stay much longer. Do yourself and your compagnions a favour, go nowhere else but to Il Salviatino if you are in Florence - The hotel is a delight and our garden room was more than we had expected. The hotel staff were simply magnificent and were always looking to help us with, for example, directions for days out of Florence, booking train tickets to Rome and restaurant reservations. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the serving of drinks and aperitivo in the library was a nice touch..

  The owners were really nice and very helpful. The villa was situated outside the city but was only a few minutes to the bus stop that took us directly into Florence itself. The room was beautiful - a luxurious big bed, loads of space and a lovely en-suite bathroom with shower. Air conditioning and a kettle with tea and coffee available. Breakfast... wat mensen zeggen » was well catered and a good variety. We loved this place and wished we had stayed longer. - This house is really amazing!!!!! Nice villa surrounded by lush garden, excellent atmosphere inside, great room, really nice owner (Elena), close to the bus station to the Florence city centre (about 10 minutes) = we could only recommend! It´s a pitty that we have stayed there only 1 night.

  It was a great stay in Hotel Genzianella. The staff is really polite and all of them speak english. We checked in on friday 8th november. They gave us a city map, explain how to find all the sights, where to eat local tasty food, but not in the tourist area. Also the hotel is 24/7. It is 20 minutes far away from the station and 10 minutes from Duo... wat mensen zeggen » mo. Location is great. The hotel is located on the 3rd and 4th flor but there is elevator. I totally recommend this hotel. - We only stayed for one night, so I can't really offer a great review...but our room was clean, large and comfortable, the man at reception was very friendly and helpful, WiFi was free and worked okay, and the location is great. Although we didn't use them, the common room and dining area looked nice too!

  One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Check in was simple, and the people were very kind. It's a huge hostel/hotel so it doesn't have the general "hostel atmosphere" in main areas, but I stayed in a female dorm with 5 other girls, and made instant friends! Also the most impressive part of this hostel/hotel is that they have just about every c... wat mensen zeggen » onvenience you can imagine! From a delicious included breakfast, to laundry facilities, free filtered water machine, and hot water for making tea etc - The staff we're nice and obliging. 24 hour reception and no curfew. The rooms were great and kept quite tidy. Bathrooms were kept very clean which was nice. Free wi-fi was awesome. If you want to spend your last day exploring- you can leave your bags at the hotel and pick them up later so you don't have to take them around with you all day.
