  We had a really warm welcome from our hosts. Lemoncello on the balcony with a beautiful view. Place was quaint clean and plenty of room. Right next to the archeolgical site of Herculaneum which was perfect. - Very friendly and helpful welcome. Excellent location for visiting Herculaneum. Off-street car parking facilities.   The Hotel is situatet only 8 km from the City of Napoli and a short ride to Visuvio. A very nice and quiet hotel in the former summer recidence of the King of Napoli. Short walk to Portici with nice shoping facilities and with the best Icecreme in the world. Short walk to "solarium" Bayard Beach Club where it is possible to rent a sunbeds and use ... wat mensen zeggen » the club facilities such as showers, bar and enjoy the DJ music from 8 am and into the night. The hotel has a friendly atmosphere, and the staff is v - Although our room was in the annexe fronting an internal garden area and not in the main hotel building it was still quite comfortable. Security provided at entrance to the hotel property made us feel safe and being able to park our car off-street in the courtyard gave us peace of mind. Breakfast was good and location within walking distance of Herculaneum (arguably just as good as Pompeii) excellent.
