  This is a renovated abbey in the countryside about 45min from Venice. Very charming, family run place with large, comfortable, and clean rooms. No ac, but quiet so we could keep the windows open. Typical european breakfast with some homemade treats added. Lucia is a dead ringer for the Merril Streep character from Mama Mia....she was quiet delight... wat mensen zeggen » ful. We highly recommend this place for anyone traveling by car through Italy who needs a break from the hustle and bustle of city hotels. Close to Ve - We stayed at that hotel on our way to Venice, as it seemed a good and not expensive place to sleep. It is located in the small village so without gps it could be difficult to find, at least it wasn't on our (paper) map. The owner was very friendly, however she doesn't speak English. The room was spacious and the design was very interesting. We have our private bathroom in the room and the airconditioning worked perfectly.
