  We had a lovely 5 night stay at this working farm. The family went out of their way to look after us - breakfast was very good and plentiful - including the lovely cakes and jam from Mrs Montelbano's kitchen and the fruit that was picked from the trees as we sat down. Big swimming pool which is quiet and great for relaxing after a day out sight se... wat mensen zeggen » eing. Definitely recommend - Very nice pool, lovely scenery and good breakfast. Friendly owner.

  Hotel Aliai - excellent value for the price. We love being around boats and ports and there was constant fishing boats coming in and out. Everytime a boat came in to drop off its fish load, locals would come to barter for the fish. Don't miss restaurant Porto San Paolo for its food,value and gorgous view!! It is one of the best restaurants duri... wat mensen zeggen » ng our 2 week stay in Sicily and only a five minute walk from the hotel. - Nice hotel below the town facing the yacht harbor ( not the commercial harbor) so quieter. Good views from the 2nd floor balcony and a a fantastic restaurant just down the street recommended by the friendly staff. Easy to find with gps and a good location to explore the mountain villages inland.

  Peaceful, relaxing, yet fun also for the children. The swimming pool was a perfect haven for hot sunnny days and the staff both on reception were helpful, polite and courteous. The Villa Calandrino has been open for only several months and already they have everything right. The staff is beyond accomodating and is open to making sure the needs of each guest is fulfilled. we loved our stay!

  Our sat-nav couldn't find hotel with Postcode, we used map co-ordinates on booking form. Chaotic road system & surrounding area rather off-putting, but the hotel wonderfully peaceful with well maintained garden and pool, we enjoyed the break from noisier city hotels. Would recommend as a base for exploring tourist sites in western Sicily. Being tired on our first - The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel was interesting, had beautiful furnishings, and was very comfortable. The pool was large, clean and very inviting.
