  We had a lovely 5 night stay at this working farm. The family went out of their way to look after us - breakfast was very good and plentiful - including the lovely cakes and jam from Mrs Montelbano's kitchen and the fruit that was picked from the trees as we sat down.   Hotel Aliai - excellent value for the price. We love being around boats and ports and there was constant fishing boats coming in and out. Everytime a boat came in to drop off its fish load, locals would come to barter for the fish. Don't miss restaurant Porto San Paolo for its food,value and gorgous view!! Good views from the 2nd floor balcony and a a fantastic restaurant just down the street recommended by the friendly staff. Easy to find with gps and a good location to explore the mountain villages inland.

  Perfect accommodation. Francesca and Riccardo were lovely, they made us welcome and gave us good information. We stayed in Hibiscus and loved it. Very well appointed and everything was provided for our stay, even a welcome basket of basics. We were provided with an electric kettle without asking for it and the toaster was already there. The garden... wat mensen zeggen » was private with quality furniture and a bbq. We loved the location as we were half way up between port and town. We ate at various places but the be - This was the nicest place for the money in all our travels in Sicily. The accommodations are modern, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed the gas stove, full-size fridge, and being able to do our laundry on site. The outside space is also lovely for eating "al fresco." Sciacca is a hidden gem in many ways. We liked the beaches, the piazza that overlooks the water in the center of town, and enjoyed the best granite down by the fisherman's wharf.

  Peaceful, relaxing, yet fun also for the children. The swimming pool was a perfect haven for hot sunnny days and the staff both on reception were helpful, polite and courteous. The Villa Calandrino has been open for only several months and already they have everything right.   Our sat-nav couldn't find hotel with Postcode, we used map co-ordinates on booking form. Chaotic road system & surrounding area rather off-putting, but the hotel wonderfully peaceful with well maintained garden and pool, we enjoyed the break from noisier city hotels. Would recommend as a base for exploring tourist sites in western Sicily. Being tired on our first - The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel was interesting, had beautiful furnishings, and was very comfortable. The pool was large, clean and very inviting.

  We got no problem finding it, it is very close to a supermarket and the city is 20 minutes walk away. You need a car to go to the beach but it is a very good deal. The place is brand new with a private parking place. Breakfast is always fresh and nice, towels and sheets has been changed regularly during our 4 nights there and the bathroom (big an... wat mensen zeggen » d comfortable) cleaned every day! Very good service for a bed and breakfast! The owner, Luca is always available and gives you good advices about the - We did not have a gps and got stuck in town. Lucca, the owner, drove to us to guide us to our stay. Very helpful. The B&B is new and decorated with a lot of good taste. We can definitely recommend this place.
