  We were positively surprised how the staff is friendly and make all guests feel like in their own home. I loved the quitness of the island. - The breakfast is quite sober but good enough for us! - Keep in mind that you will have to travel with a vaperetto (waterbus) from venice to a seperate island! Trip will take 20 minutes and than you will have to walk for 15 minutes (or make an appointment with the hotel for a free shuttle service! The walk is nice so we didn't use this service). - Don't expect luxury, just a place to sleep!

  We recently enjoyed a 2 night stay at Hotel Casa Boccassini for our honeymoon. The hotel is tucked away and we did have to look hard to find it however if you do your research beforehand it will be easy to locate. When you first walk into the hotel there is a beautiful garden courtyard with chairs which is a nice serene place for the weary trave... wat mensen zeggen » ller to take a load off your feet. The rooms are nice, fairly small and nothing fancy with slightly outdated furniture, however the ensuite was new a - Cheap for Venice but still well over 100 euros per night. Cean comfortable and with lovely garden giving friendly homely feel. In a quieter part of Venice which is a huge plus after battling through the crowds around Rialto and St Marks square. Still only a few minutes walk from centre so why pay more for a slightly more central location? Receptionist didn't speak English but extremely helpful, friendly and polite. Breakfast in garden was not the most generous but in a delightful setting.

  Our room was at the Biasin side, first floor with great views on the bridge and canal. Newly renovated bathroom, spacious 3 pers. room. Wifi worked in the room too (above the lobby). Considering that it is very difficult to carry bags in Venice and that it is difficult to find someone to help, this is a great advantage. We stayed in a apartment with 2 rooms for 3 people, very spacious, clean and confortable.

However, this modest hotel is quite clean and I guess managed by family. The personnel is quite friendly, and the hotel is very central. If you are looking for a luxury, then you should choose another hotel. - As soon as you step inside you feel the friendliness and warmth of a family-based business. We had a room with a canal view, the beds were cozy and the shower great - all of this more than made up for the humble furnishings. Just 5 minutes from the station, and the restaurant next door is good. We won't bother looking anywhere else for our stays in Venice.

Staff very helpful, we got to check in early as the room was ready and they kept our bags safe on the last day until late at night. Also ate in the restaurant which was good food, staff here more than helpful as the terrace flooded during high tide and they piggy back

  Nice location, just besides the water bus stop.The streets in Venice are so complicated that makes you easy to get lost, but the Pensione Guerrato is very easy to find. The staff are very kind, rooms are clean. We live in the top floor and from the window there you can see the bell tower in St. Marco square. The baby bed was perfect and the room itself was comfortable and very clean. The pensione is great value for money and ideally situated near the Rialto bridge.

  I really Love this place! Wow! Although some people said the photo doesnt look the same like in reality, trust me, my room (room number 3) look exactly the same like in the picture. And to make it perfect, the receptionist lady is very nice! - The room was well-kept and quite large, with a comfortable bed, large flat screen tv, and a mini fridge. The bathroom was wonderful!   The location was more than excellent! It was very easy to find even for those who don't know Venice. It was very near to the main square and to the "vaporetto" stations. No more than 5 minutes on foot. Especially the staff was too helpful and polite. They were excellent. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. The stairs were funny.
