  We're just back from only 1 night's stay at this fabulous country house. We arrived on Saturday afternoon to a welcome from Conor, who immediately guessed who we were before we even introduced ourselves! It seemed like he was eagerly awaiting our arrival!. We were immediately impressed with the location, stunning house & beautiful gardens even... wat mensen zeggen » though it was quite a cold but beautifully sunny April afternoon, Conor immediately began advising us to get out and about, exciting us with all the - Bridget and Conor were very welcoming upon arrival at Gleannn Fia Country House. The grounds are beautiful, nestled along a babbling stream in a very peaceful, serene and quiet setting. Aftternoon tea was a special treat, as were the delicious breakfasts. Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Conor's suggestions and directions for our trip along the Ring of Kerry were outstanding - including the recommendation to have pancakes (crepes) at Strawberry Field (they were to die

  We stayed in the self contained apartment adjoining the house and were greeted with tea and biscuits on arrival. Joan and her helpers couldn't be more welcoming and easy going. The place was both spotless and comfy in equal measures. Joan is very kind,very good to give advice and treat everyone like special guest. We got bigger room with king bed. Room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast very nice. Very happy with location. It 2 min drive from Killarney,not too close to all crowd. Really nice. We'll be back for sure.

  Lovely friendly staff - esp the Polish lady. Breakfast was v good. Excellent location within 2 mins walk of the centre of town and right on the harbour/marina.   This was by far the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Our hosts Lillian and Dom were amazing. They went out of their way for us, and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was charming and spotless.   Very clean place with lovely staff and great location on Ring of Kerry. Cosy sitting room with lots of books, internet access, conservatory, access to patio and back garden. We were about 40 mins late with booking out on the day of departure and there was no problem with that at all. We got a baby cot free of charge for the duration of stay. Truly recommended pl - This place is perfect for backpackers as well for families with light budget. The kitchen and lounge are well equipped. There is a big garden with BBQ. Very near to the beach and steeffin walk. At the beginning of the ring if Kerry road. We had a double bed em suite room but actually even the dormitory are really fine and there are plenty of shared bathrooms and toilets.
