From the minute I made the reservation I knew I had made the right choice. Madeline the owner contacted me straight away in response to my request as I was taking part in The Pieta House Darkness into Light walk and would be coming and going in the early hours. She was so personable and accommodating from our initial contact over the emails and even more so in person. First of all, when looking for a B&B with a comfortable bed that fits a taller, back- challenged mature couple this was a God send. It lived up to it's description as a King sized memory foam bed. When you've gotten a good night's sleep, and we needed one after many days in a rental car touring the south, I was disappointed I only booked this for 3 days. I could have spent a week here easily, with all the areas to explore within hour's reach. Madeleine went above and beyond for us in seeing.
Madeline was a wonderful hostess! Her B & B is spotless as well as warm and welcoming. Our rooms were very large and well appointed. Our room had a lovely sea view and was very quiet. The beds were extremely comfortable. Parking was free and plentiful. Easy walk to grocery store, launderette, and an excellent restaurant, Tom Sheridan's. Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. Madeline was helpful in every way including picking up our laundry so we didn't have to hurry back from sight.
The location is beautiful. Madeline, the owner and hos is fantastic. Her
customer service excellent. She made us feel very welcomed, suggested a
place for dinner, made sure we could get there and was charming. The
homemade full Irish breakfast was wonderful. Porridge with seeds, nuts
and a touch of Bailey's Irish Creme. Wow. Madeline would have been
reason enough to stay there but the view was beautiful, the place was
clean and the bed was great with an excellent, fluffy comforter. I could
have.
Our hostess Madeleine was extremely friendly and accommodating. The
room was very clean and comfortable, as was the common area. The
setting was very relaxing and the gardens were beautiful. Our breakfast
was very tasty and generous. We have no hesitations in recommending
Atlantic Heights, we will certainly be doing so to our family and
friends back home in Australia. We are looking forward to be able to
visit once again.
The hostess was extremely helpful with information on where to go for
music and good restaurants in the area. She even offered to drive us
places if we didn't want to use our rental car. She went out of her
way to ensure we had all travel information we needed. Breakfasts were
wonderful with plenty of food provided! Rooms were attractively
decorated. Nice quiet location and yet easy access to city centre.
B&B is removed from the city (but there's a bus right there) so it's comfortable and quiet after a day of sightseeing. Beautiful view of beach and Aran islands. Look out at pretty back garden from the lovely glass breakfast room. Friendly, helpful, and attentive host/owner Madeline makes one feel right at home, and is a great tour planner also.
Beautifully designed B&B, lovely layout, comfortable large room with comfy bed/slept well. Breakfast served to order. Madeleine is a great hostess, gave great recommendations re what to see/visit/restaurants. Don't miss a walk or bike ride on promenade. Short taxi ride to busy city center. Very homely atmosphere. Madeline, the proprietor and the staff were very helpful and friendly.Very comfortable room. Great breakfast!! Ideal location for experiencing all Galway has to offer; a few minutes walk to promenade in Salthill, a few minutes drive to the city and just off the road to Spideal.

Loved our stay here. The room was a good size, clean, fresh and comfortable and the king size bed superb. The host Madelaine and staff made us very welcome and the gourmet breakfast served in the conservatory was one of the best we had in various B&B's in Ireland. Would happily stay there again.
We loved absolutely everything about Atlantic Heights. Location, 5* accommodations not to mention the fantastic breakfast and also the view of Galway Bay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and no lack of amenities. I would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend it.
The owner was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The area is lovely, lots to see and do and it's give you great access to other natural sights in the area.

This place is good for relaxation,very clean and quiet. I booked a single bed room but ended up having double bed room for the price of single. Plus owners were very helpful.

30 min walk to city center.
I had the smallest room in the hotel and although it was clean and comfortable I barely had space for my suitcase. Therefore I felt it was over-priced. The other rooms were very reasonable. It is also pretty far from the center of town, although there is a bus that runs every hour.
Charging extra for breakfast at a b & b was unexpected and odd. Wifi
was spotty.
