The location is superb, the ambience so romantic, the service is top-notch, the food is great (the chef sent us complimentary dishes that were just delicious!), the views from our room (upgraded to a lake view) were incredible... We travel a lot all over the world, but it will be very hard to top the Taj Lake Palace hotel!! We celebrated our wedding anniversary during our stay and the hotel couldn't do enough for us. It was the most romantic experience and we wished we could have stayed longer. Spa treatments were excellent, the food delicious and our delightful waitress, Rose made it very special. Altogether sheer perfection.

We could see the Taj Lake Palace, the City Palace and the Jag Mandir straight ahead.   The location was exceptional with views of lake and the palace from our bedroom and the rooftop restaurant. We were close to many of the attractions. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
