  We were treated very nicely by the staff at Peerless Inn. And we got our room on arrival even though it was very early Sunday morning. Every one at the hotel was very helpful and kind to us. The hotel is at good base if you are visiting Kolkata. - Best possible location in Calcutta. Comfortable and good value.   I have stayed at a few of the older top hotels in Kolkata and found their facilities limited and pretentious and staff continually begging for tips. The Sonnet was wonderfully different, the staff were fantastically helpful, the rooms immaculate and the cost fair. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
