If you're looking for an elegant home from home in Delhi, look no further. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. There's a sitting/dining room on each floor for guests' use, where meals can be served to order. A full breakfast is included in the room rate. Lunch and dinner can be ordered; the food is excellent. Or, if you like, you can have dinner next door in the highly acclaimed Indian Accent restaurant, at The Manor boutique hotel, until recently owned by our host at 76, Manmohan Singh. Mr Singh and his lovely daughter Devika, are the most gracious hosts imaginable. The extremely kind and helpful manager, Manish Mittal, is on hand most of the time. Cars and drivers can be arranged. I can highly recommend Hoshiar as a driver, he's courteous, careful and knowledgeable about Delhi. As a solo female traveller, places like this are difficult to find anywhere in the world. and I shall certainly make this my Delhi base from now on.
Everything. 76 Friends Colony is a sanctuary of calm, good design, clean finishes & gracious hospitality. Cotton sheets & comfortable beds. We found it an absolutely wonderful experience. Unfortunately our early morning departure was difficult because I experienced an unexpected & awful reaction to travel sickness medication. The staff coped very well with the situation & assisted my daughter with our early morning check out & taxi to the airport. Positively recommend as a great place to stay; thank you to the Singh family & staff
finding a taxi can be difficult, as located in a residential area.
