  We requested a bigger room and we were kindly given one - thanks to the very nice, cheerful and helpful lady who was at the front desk. There was also this guy at the front desk when we checked in and he was pretty grumpy looking and it seems like he's doing us a favour whenever we ask questions. We're so glad to not see him the next day - there was another person stationed at the front desk and he's heaps hel - We had a nice and modern room. The included breakfast was very tasty, thank you!   I love the uniqueness of the hotel - it didn't feel like a cookie-cutter or formulaic version of a luxury hotel, like so many hotels that belong to chains. It is a hotel with great character and charm.   Being a first time traveller to India on business, choosing The Royal Court Hotel - New Delhi, was the best decision I made for my trip. They picked me on time from the airport. I had booked their best rooms, The Royal Suite and paid total 25,000 inr for 2 nights there. The best was the (lovely) room. The English buffet breakfast - with very courte - Location was so good for getting around Delhi. Could walk to may locations--or one block from metro station--or take a motorized rickshaw from just outside the gate. Coming back to the hotel was like coming into a refuge--quiet and calm. Also, the breakfast was wonderful and lasted thur dinner!
