  I stayed 2 nights 15 th and 16 th dec-2013 at vivanta taj , my stay was wonderful, starting from check in to room service, breakfast and above all , staff were so polite and friendly. I would definitely come again to visit and love to recommend every one and at last I got nice souvenir from hotel while che king out!!! Great indeed. - Staff was... wat mensen zeggen » very friendly and gave us great tips for what to visit. They also arranged the reservations and provided a very good service. Very personal and considerate. They also prepared a surprise for us since we were on our honeymoon. Very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend this hotel.

  As the title explains..it's basic, has fairly modern rooms..with either split or window AC's and tv's. The rooftop has a splendid view of the Mehrangarh fort. The front rooms get a direct view of the fort and also a small pond in front, which although is filled with litter, also has some birds that come visiting (we got to see black ducks and some... wat mensen zeggen » parrots). Although located in the heart of the old city..the area has an old world charm to it, with a splash of village life (hint:lots of cows;-)) - This is a family run, very pleasant hotel. The rooms are clean and from the lake side have a great view. Roof top restaurant has a fantastic view of the fort and the city - the best one we've seen there anyway. Great service, good food, away from the crowds, but walking distance to wherever you want to get to in Jodhpur. Highly recommended!
