  It doesn't look much from the outside but actually it was a nice little place. The room was small but comfortable and clean with a desk, a comfy single bed a wardrobe etc. Really good, well equipped kitchen and really nice shower/bathroom. The wifi worked fine for me, although the lady in the next room had problems. I would stay there again. The t... wat mensen zeggen » own is really sweet little place with lots of lovely well marked out hiking trails in the area and a nice feel about it, though a bit pricey, above th - By mistake we have ordered a room for 1 person while being together with my 11y old son. The second set of linen etc was arranged in 5 mins. The shared kitchen has full set of equipment including pots, frying pans etc. Besides you can buy some food right in the hostel. There are two WCs

  Our 2 night stay in Langahlid (number 3) was by far the highlight of our 2 week honeymoon in Iceland. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer here! The houses are superbly equipped from coffee machine to hot tub to gas bbq and impeccably clean (I couldn’t believe our house was built in 2006). Accommodation in Iceland can be expensive but I’d... wat mensen zeggen » challenge anyone to find better value accommodation (given the views, location and house spec) on the planet. We enjoyed a lovely coffee and chocolat - Everything! A wonderful place in a beautiful spot. It was comfortable, and obviously built with great care and attention to detail. Also, a great price, we feel like we got more than we paid for. There is a great hike if you follow the gravel road up the hill behind the cabin that goes up and over a series of waterfalls, and I think eventually up to a lake, but we started too late and were running out of daylight after we got up past the third waterfall. The hot tub was great, such a nice view,
